Janitorial Technician (Multi-Site Clinic Support)

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to support cleanliness and organization at our two pediatric clinic locations in Richmond and Winchester. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff by performing routine cleaning and responding to as-needed cleaning tasks throughout the day. The position will require travel between the two clinics for daily cleaning responsibilities.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
(Clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM; this position includes after-hours cleaning responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel between both clinic locations to complete daily cleaning tasks
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the clinics
- Clean and restock restrooms (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
- Sanitize gym equipment, therapy/play equipment, and toys regularly
- Take out trash and medical waste (per guidelines)
- Perform deeper cleaning of rooms and spaces after clinic hours
- Respond to spills or urgent cleaning needs during operating hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols
Qualifications:
- Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in healthcare settings
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across two locations
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)
- Dependability and being punctual are a must
- Must be able to pass a background check
